Chicken Fried Rice Bowl
Something that is always a classic staple point of any college students meals is rice. Whether its enjoyed within a bowl with shredded chicken and veggies, or in a Mexican or Asian style dish, rice can hit the sweet spot of being a cheap yet filling food. Depending on what vegetables or sauce you use can completely change the taste of your meal. This meal allows for a variety of tastes and new experiment's while cooking with only a few differences within the recipe.
A great option for rice is to enjoy fried rice. The meal that I made this week is similar to my first blogs meal of a chicken veggie bowl, but this time instead of using the parmesan rice, I am making fried rice.
The ingredients used for this meal are:
- Broccoli
- Bell Peppers
- Chicken
- Cauliflower Rice
- Olive Oil
- Soy Sauce
- Eggs
- Butter
The first thing to do when making this Chicken Fried Rice meal is to scramble your eggs. This step is easy and quick but if you need any help here is a link to easy scrambled eggs: Scrambled Eggs. After Scrambling your eggs set them off to the side for later. In order to fry your ice, add it to a pan with butter, olive oil, and soy sauce and cook it on high heat until its a golden brown. Then add your veggies, egg, and chicken to the pan. Continue cooking until all aspects of the meal are fully cooked.
Fried Rice provides a great tasting and delicious meal, and offers a variety of tastes based off the veggies and sauce you decide to use. Meals like fried rice are great because they offer alternatives to your classic meals that you may want a break from. I would highly recommend this meal to anyone looking for a quick yet delicious meal.
